S03E027 – Go Further, Battery

If you missed the posts in the Discord, this week’s #content is a little different. I went on a road trip to get away from things, and I vlogged the experience. This is the audio version of said vlog. I’m still not 100% sure what I’m going to do with the video version. I might just post it up here, or I might make it exclusive to Patreon supporters for a window of time. Please enjoy.

S3E013 – Great Friendly Beings

We’re back this week with two Game Dev Origin stories. While these fine people aren’t everyday names in Game Dev lore, they are two people that inspire me and keep my energy up for doing this crazy job day after day. On today’s cast:

Alicia Cano: Engineer, and life-long Floridian. She has been at Iron Galaxy long enough to remember Kiran falling down the stairs during the Holiday Party, so she’s seen some shit, listen up.

Tom Angus: I’ve worked with Tom on three (!) different occasions now. Once at Kodiak, once at Microsoft, and now (hopefully finally) at Iron Galaxy. You’ll never find a more positive person in all your days, so stop searching.

Next week Dave and Darryl will be back. Neither can leave the house, so I don’t know what they are going to speak on, but tune in regardless!

S3E012 – Guidance For Beginners

We’ve got another Game Dev origin story this week, we’re back with Chris Tilton, composer and indie game dev. Turns out Chris has worked on a very impressive catalog of movies, television shows, and video games, more-so than I would have dared guess.

S3E010 – Game Fabricator’s Beginnings

No bespoke show notes this week because Dave is at PAX putting in the Lord’s Work. Some travel stories, Dave’s video game origin story, and many laughs in-between. Please enjoy.
