It’s an brief update on Quarantine status from the bois, then they get to answering some emails. The emails cover a wide range of topics, from parenting tips to the nitty-gritty details of how IG handles some of its port work, there’s truly something in here for everyone.

We’re also happy to say the GFB Discord is up and running, and some true CCGs have already filled its ranks. You may join them here.

S3E014 – Gloriously Full Beards

Hey all, first off, the GFB Discord is live and you can jump on it here.

If you sub to Dave on Twitch, permissions should be setup automatically for you over on Discord land, if you support this podcast via Patreon please head over to Patreon and DM the bois your Discord ID from there, and they will get you squared away shortly thereafter.

This week the bois are back together for the first time since everything got weird and scary. They talk about life when you don’t leave the house, and what games they’ve been playing.

S3E013 – Great Friendly Beings

We’re back this week with two Game Dev Origin stories. While these fine people aren’t everyday names in Game Dev lore, they are two people that inspire me and keep my energy up for doing this crazy job day after day. On today’s cast:

Alicia Cano: Engineer, and life-long Floridian. She has been at Iron Galaxy long enough to remember Kiran falling down the stairs during the Holiday Party, so she’s seen some shit, listen up.

Tom Angus: I’ve worked with Tom on three (!) different occasions now. Once at Kodiak, once at Microsoft, and now (hopefully finally) at Iron Galaxy. You’ll never find a more positive person in all your days, so stop searching.

Next week Dave and Darryl will be back. Neither can leave the house, so I don’t know what they are going to speak on, but tune in regardless!

S3E012 – Guidance For Beginners

We’ve got another Game Dev origin story this week, we’re back with Chris Tilton, composer and indie game dev. Turns out Chris has worked on a very impressive catalog of movies, television shows, and video games, more-so than I would have dared guess.

S3E011 – Gritty Fractures Bones

Hey all, sorry this is a little late today, was trying to get the video for my YouTube that accompanies this together, and wanted to co-publish both things. Video is still not ready, but I’m going to throw the audio up regardless.

This was Live from PAX East 2020, the Let’s Rank It! panel. We laughed, we cried, we ranked many things. Please enjoy.

S3E010 – Game Fabricator’s Beginnings

No bespoke show notes this week because Dave is at PAX putting in the Lord’s Work. Some travel stories, Dave’s video game origin story, and many laughs in-between. Please enjoy.

S3E009 – Gaseous Flu Bags

This week Dave and Andrea Renee of What’s Good Games chop it up, hot of the heels of a hectic DICE. The two chat a bit about Destiny and The Division before diving into Andrea’s origin story, it’s a doozy so buckle up.
